The European Week of Sustainable Development in Hendaye
From May 30 to June 5, the European Sustainable Development Week will be held to raise public awareness of environmental issues and to remind people of environmentally responsible behavior.
On this occasion, many initiatives will be organized throughout Europe to promote sustainable development.
Hendayaise’s life for sustainable development
The city of Hendaye in the Basque Country then decided to set up various actions during this week devoted to sustainable development in order to:
• raise public awareness of sustainable development issues
• provide concrete solutions to act
• encourage everyone to adopt responsible behaviors
Les Roues de Lilou & Sustainable Development
Les Roues de Lilou Anglet, as well as its new store in Hendaye are very sensitive to sustainable development. That’s why we want to participate and do something more for the environment.
In fact, we offer various means of transport eco-friendly with electric assistance, including a wide range of electric bikes that combine fun with responsible behavior.

On the program: history & geography of the border agriculture, hydrology, floods, and geology will be some of the topics discussed.

« Easy ride »: Guided tours on electric bikes
Take part in guided tours, free of charge on electric bikes, what would you say?
Indeed, on June 3, 2017, you will have the opportunity to « ride easy » with our guides. One-hour tours in the Basque Country will be for you the means to test our electric bikes & make a gesture for the planet.
Departing from Sokoburu beach in Hendaye on June 3rd, you can choose between different time slots to take part in these guided bike tours on the Basque Coast.
– Morning: departure at 10h or 11h30
– Afternoon: departure at 14h, 15h30 or 17h
Departures will be from our booth located on the beach of Sokoboru which will be dedicated to this day for « la journée de la glisse » !

This day is a key date for electric bikes. Indeed, VAE will be honored in the Basque Country through various events. That day will then take place:
